Comprehensive website redesign project for Reagan National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport, serving as lead designer from initial concept through final implementation. This award-winning project involved competing against major contractors to deliver a cutting-edge digital experience that would serve millions of travelers annually and establish new standards for airport website design.
End-to-End UX Leadership & Design Strategy
Led the complete design process from sitemap architecture through wireframing to final visual design and development collaboration. Created comprehensive user experience strategies that addressed the complex needs of international travelers, airport operations, and stakeholder requirements. The winning design submission was selected over multiple competing contractor proposals, demonstrating superior understanding of airport digital ecosystems and user-centered design principles.
Interactive Kiosk Development & Wayfinding Systems
Solely designed and developed interactive airport kiosks with comprehensive wayfinding capabilities, collaborating closely with development teams on wireframes and front-end implementation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These interactive touchscreen systems provided travelers with real-time flight information, terminal navigation, dining and shopping directories, and accessibility features, significantly improving the passenger experience and reducing staff workload.
Award-Winning Branding & Promotional Content
Designed and produced a comprehensive branding promotional video that was displayed throughout both Reagan National and Dulles International airports, reaching millions of travelers annually. The project received industry recognition and awards following the successful website launch, validating the innovative design approach and user experience strategy.
